Who We Are
Anthony Mai
Pastor
Pastor Anthony Mai was born and raised in the Hampton Roads area. He was raised in a Christian home but without true faith in the Lord Jesus. He trusted Christ for Salvation at the age of eighteen (2005) and he and his wife, Keyra were married in 2007. They now have four children, Rebecca, Nicholas, Judah, and Rachel. Pastor Mai has attended Bible Believers Baptist church from its foundation where he was trained under our former pastor, Timothy MacDonald. He served faithfully at Bible Believers Baptist Church for many years before becoming the pastor in 2021. His highest ambitions are to please the Lord in every aspect of his life, to help God’s people grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, and to bring many more to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Dave Armstead
Music Minister
Dave Armstead was born in Jacksonville, FL. He was raised in a religious home, but without Christ. He enlisted in the Navy in 1993, was married to his wife, Tiffanie, in 1996, and trusted Christ for salvation in 2002 while serving in San Diego. He attended Bible Believers Baptist Church (BBBC) while stationed at Little Creek in 2007-2010. After retiring, the Lord led Dave and his family back to BBBC. Dave has been involved in music since his youth and became the music leader in 2021. He desires to serve the Lord through music and military ministry.
