Teen Class

WHO WE ARE  Here at Bible Believers Baptist Church, we hold the words of Jesus in Luke 18:16 in high regard... "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."    Although these teenagers are not little children anymore, we believe that God desires to have a personal relationship with them through Jesus Christ. Once that relationship is established, it is God's desire to see these young people develop their own personal walk with the Lord and be fully involved in worship, prayer, and ministry!

OUR GOAL   is synonymous with that of John the Baptist when he stated that the purpose of his ministry was, "To make ready a people prepared for the Lord." - Lk 1:17   We believe that young people tend to live UP to, or DOWN to the expectations that have been set for them. Most young people today are not expected to know much or to do much, especially when it comes to service to the Lord Jesus. We beg to differ... Some of the most incredible acts of faith and service to the Lord in Scripture have been through the lives of young people.  Paul wrote to young Timothy in 1 Timothy 4:12 - "Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou and example of the believers..."

WHAT WE DO   We have a weekly teen class where we teach songs and preach through the entire Bible. We plan monthly teen activities that include ministry, singing, games, good food, and Bible preaching! We take them on periodic teen trips for sight seeing, hiking, safe adventure, clean fellowship, and Bible preaching from Godly men around the country. We also desire to take the young people on life-altering mission trips to visit missionaries and mission fields around the world. Here at Bible Believers Baptist Church, our goal is to see these young people grow up to love and serve Jesus with a life of fruitfulness and faithfulness as they find their place in the work of The Great Commission.
